I'll do this again, even though I have begun this year with more television shows as opposed to movies. Last year was a huge year for movies (for me) because I was just discovering old classics, and now I've kind of gotten what feels like a vast amount of them out of the way and I'm not as keen anymore.
Besides, I want to read more books this year so I guess I'll try to focus on that.

Persnickety, flibbertigibbet, lollygag—some words are just more fun to say. What's your favorite word?

Have you ever ruined the ending or given away plot developments in a book, movie, or tv show by telling someone who hasn't seen or read it what happens? Has anyone ever done this to you?

I remember it was during grade 10 and my friend was telling me that she was finally reading the Harry Potter books. Somehow she said she knew that a character dies. I said, "Oh yeah, Dumbledore, that was so sad."
"Wait, what, Dumbledore dies?"
"Um, no... Do you mean Sirius then?"
"SIRIUS DIES?!"
Turns out she only knew about Cedric.

I found it quite ridiculously funny but I'm sure she was less than pleased that she was completely spoiled, death-wise, for the entire HP series up to that point (Deathly Hallows hadn't come out then.)
